JONATHAN D. JACKSON
Cinematic Video Production
FROM ALL OVER
Hi, my name is Jonathan D. Jackson. I have lived in four states: Texas, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Arizona. I just tell people I'm from all over. Right now, I'm finishing my final semester at Arizona State University, earning a degree in Film and Media Production.
Growing up, you could have found me in church, on a field playing a sport, or at home playing video games. I'm a big fan of the Lions, Red Wings, and Tigers, but I can talk sports all day long.
I shoot, develop, and scan my own film photography at home. It's one thing in life that allows me to step back for a little while. This helps keep me going in other areas of life. I'm into hiking, but it's really just a fun way to hang out with people and go see something cool in the world. I'm also a history guy.
Recently, I've been exploring the pike-and-shot period and the golden age of piracy.
I'll be down to do just about anything as long as good people are involved, something to learn, and the chance to have fun. I just recently rode a bull because my friend wanted to, and I wasn't going to let him do it alone. Well, most would call it being thrown off a bull more than riding one. My friends are now dragging me fishing, so I'm dusting off a rod I haven't used in years. Everything should go great.
Whether I am directing a cinematic short or designing intricate pixel art sequences, my focus remains on the human element. I believe every frame should tell a story, and every project should leave a lasting impression.
